Online Diabetes 101 class

This class will have a review of diabetes basics including blood sugar targets, hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, ketones, exercise, carbohydrate counting, snacks and insulin dose adjustment.

This class was designed for direct caregivers and patients with diabetes. If looking for basics for caregivers, nurses or babysitters then ask about our Survival Skills course (see below)! It is a great opportunity to discuss diabetes in an open forum with our team.

Please let your inpatient diabetes educator know which class you would like to attend. If not scheduled while inpatient, please call the office and press the scheduling option. Let them know you would like to schedule Diabetes 101 zoom class.

We ask that you please schedule an online zoom class prior to your first follow up appointment if you are able.

Due to the format of this class being online, consent is required. Please fax or email signed consent upon receipt. Once your class is scheduled, you will receive a zoom link for the class.
