Stephen Stone, MD and Michael Thompson, MD, PhD were elected to the Society for Pediatric Research. The Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) encourages and supports pediatric research endeavors by creating a multi-disciplinary network of diverse researchers to improve child health.

Sam Cortez, MD, (PG5 Fellow) will present his abstract “Monoclonal Cortisol Immunoassay Cut Off Point to Diagnose Adrenal Insufficiency (AI)” at the Pediatric Endocrine Society national meeting. It has been designated a Pediatric Endocrine Society Presidential Abstract; one of the top-ranking abstracts submitted by a trainee.
